Members of Teamsters Local 2010 and the CSU Employees Union (SEIU 2579) successfully advocated passage of salary steps bill SB 410, which directs the CSU to implement a salary step system for non-faculty staff, as recommended by a recent CSU salary study.

The legislation, authored by Sen. Connie Leyva (D-Chino), now awaits Gov. Gavin Newsom’s signature.

CSU workers head to the Capitol on Monday, Sept. 12 to demand that Gov. Newsom stand with workers and sign the bill.
